Reception Cocoa
Cocoa mixed to a paste with a little boiling water before the rest goes in — the step that stops lumps. Beating it for two minutes at the end raises the froth that keeps a skin from forming.
Ingredients
- cocoa powder — 3 tbsp
- sugar — 50 g
- salt — 1 pinch
- boiling water — 240 ml
- milk — 1 l
Instructions
- Heat the milk in a pan until it steams.
- Mix the cocoa, sugar and salt together in a second pan.
- Add half the boiling water and stir to a completely smooth paste before adding the rest.
- Boil this mixture for one minute.
- Pour it into the hot milk.
- Beat hard for two minutes with a whisk until a good froth forms, then serve.
