Cranberry Sauce
Three ingredients, ten minutes, lid on. Keep an eye on it — cranberries foam up alarmingly and will climb straight over the side of the pan if you look away.
Ingredients
- cranberries — 300 g
- sugar — 250 g
- boiling water — 240 ml
Instructions
- Pick over the cranberries, discarding any soft ones, and wash them.
- Put them in a pan with the sugar and boiling water.
- Cover and boil for ten minutes.
- Watch the pan the whole time — the fruit foams up fast and boils over easily.
- Skim off any foam from the surface.
- Cool completely before serving; the sauce thickens as it cools.
